Our Commitment to Privacy

Wallpyria is designed with privacy at its core. We believe your wallpapers and desktop preferences are personal, and we have no interest in collecting or analyzing them. This Privacy Policy explains what information we do and do not collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We DO NOT Collect

Wallpyria is a privacy-first application. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Usage data or analytics - We do not track how you use the app
• Telemetry or crash reports - No automatic error reporting
• Your wallpaper files - We never access, upload, or view your images or videos
• Your file paths or locations - We don't know where your files are stored
• Your desktop configuration - Monitor layout and settings stay local
• Third-party tracking - No SDKs from Google, Facebook, or other trackers
• Cookies or web beacons - The app doesn't use cookies (website may use minimal session cookies)
• Device identifiers - No device fingerprinting or unique IDs

2. Information We Collect

The only information we collect is:

• Purchase Information - When you buy Wallpyria (a one-time in-app purchase), the transaction is processed by Apple via the App Store/StoreKit. We never see your payment details. The app only checks on your Mac:
  • Transaction (verified by StoreKit on your Mac)
  • Purchase date
  • Product purchased (Lifetime)
  • Purchase status (purchased/refunded)
• Email Address (Optional) - Only if you:
  • Contact our support team (altlogic.pl@gmail.com)
  • Write to us about the app
  • Ask for help with your purchase
• Support Communications - If you contact us for help, we store your email correspondence to provide support. This is deleted upon request.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the minimal information we collect only for:

• Purchase Validation - Verifying your one-time purchase on your Mac (StoreKit)
• Customer Support - Responding to your questions and technical issues
• Purchase Questions - Answering questions about your App Store purchase
• Legal Compliance - Meeting legal obligations (e.g., tax records, fraud prevention)
• Product Updates - Sending important app updates (only if you opted in)

We NEVER:

• Sell your data to third parties
• Use your data for advertising or marketing (except with explicit consent)
• Share your data with partners or affiliates
• Build user profiles or behavioral tracking

4. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage: All your wallpapers, schedules, preferences, and configurations are stored exclusively on your Mac using UserDefaults and security-scoped bookmarks. We have zero access to this data. If you delete the app, all data is removed from your device.

Cloud Storage: We do not use cloud storage. There are no Wallpyria servers storing your files.

Security Measures: For the minimal data we do collect (emails, transaction IDs), we use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3) and secure storage practices.

5. Third-Party Services

Wallpyria integrates with the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store & StoreKit 2 - For processing the in-app purchase. Apple's Privacy Policy applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

We do not integrate any analytics (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.) or advertising SDKs.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

If you are in the European Union (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have the following rights:

• Right to Access - Request a copy of any data we have about you (email altlogic.pl@gmail.com)
• Right to Deletion - Request deletion of your data (we'll delete within 30 days)
• Right to Portability - Request your data in a machine-readable format
• Right to Opt-Out - Opt out of marketing emails (click "unsubscribe" in any email)
• Right to Non-Discrimination - We won't discriminate if you exercise your rights

Note: Since we collect almost no data, most requests will result in "no data found." All your wallpaper data is stored locally on your device, which you control completely.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Wallpyria is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us immediately at altlogic.pl@gmail.com and we will delete it.

8. International Data Transfers

Since all data is stored locally on your device, there are no international data transfers. Email communications may be stored on servers in the United States or European Union, protected by standard encryption and access controls.

9. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary:

• Transaction records - 7 years (legal requirement for tax purposes)
• Support emails - Until resolved, or upon request for deletion
• Newsletter subscribers - Until you unsubscribe

10. Cookies and Website Tracking

Our website (wallpyria.altlogic.pl) uses minimal cookies:

• Essential cookies - Required for website functionality (e.g., session management)
• No tracking cookies - We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar trackers

The macOS app does not use cookies at all.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be announced via:

• App update notification
• Email (if you subscribed to updates)
• Website banner (for 30 days)

Continued use of Wallpyria after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.

12. California Residents (CCPA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have additional rights:

• Right to know what personal information is collected
• Right to know if personal information is sold (we do NOT sell data)
• Right to opt-out of sale (not applicable - we don't sell data)
• Right to deletion of personal information
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising CCPA rights
